We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our CDN Configuration Group. You'll collaborate with skilled software professionals to deliver robust mechanisms that grant users total governance and safety across their network settings.

## About The Team

The CDN Configuration team oversees the end-to-end configuration ecosystem across our edge platform. Our core mission is delivering a coherent, safe, highly performant, and resilient experience that empowers customers to modify their traffic routing with absolute confidence.

## Responsibilities

- Collaborate with skilled software professionals to deliver robust mechanisms that grant users total governance and safety across their network settings.

- Architect services that let users seamlessly prototype, execute, evaluate, and discard tailored traffic rules, ensuring optimal alignment with their operational requirements.

- Directly interface with distributed edge platforms, partnering with cross-functional groups to streamline and fortify our global infrastructure.

- Drive technical alignment alongside engineering peers across the organization.

## Requirements

- Solid competencies in practical computer science, applying the right algorithms, data structures, concurrency control systems to software design, and building large, distributed systems.

- Experience operating production systems safely , deployment, rollout, rollback, and observability.

- Driving communication and consensus across teams.

- A drive for continuous improvement when it comes to both operations and new product development.

## Nice to Have

- Experience with languages: Rust, Go.

- Knowledge of web servers and web protocols.

- Distributed systems, and distributed configuration or state-distribution systems.

- Experience with safe deployment: progressive rollout, versioning/snapshots, CI/CD.

- Web security issues and industry standards.
