## Description

This Data Analyst position supports Operations & Maintenance analytical activities for Renewable & Resilient Generation facilities. You will review existing fleet performance, identify operational gaps, engage with industry partners, produce complex energy models, and more.

**Responsibilities:**

- Promote a strong safety culture across the organization

- Generate complex energy models to predict renewable output

- Review existing solar fleet performance and maintenance data

- Review performance goals against data sets

- Engage in the industry for BESS and DER performance and maintenance data trends

- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Renewable & Resilient Generation performance data

- Support existing generation fleet and new facilities

- Look for ways to align with other organizations across Southern Company

**Qualifications:**

- Engineering, Data Analytics, or related degree preferred

- Knowledge of renewable energy and solar/BESS technologies preferred

- Proficient in project management, communication, and system performance

- Microsoft Office suite required

- Experience with data management techniques and analytics platforms (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) required

- Databricks and GitHub experience preferred

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
