## Description

GuidePoint Security is seeking a Senior Security Architect to deliver architecture maturity assessments, including Security Architecture Reviews, Zero Trust Maturity Assessments, and Ransomware Readiness Assessments.

The ideal candidate will have broad architecture knowledge across various network, cloud, identity, application, data, and infrastructure security domains. They should also have practitioner knowledge on implementing firewalls, secure web gateways, ZTNA solutions, endpoint security platforms, and data loss prevention technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

- Reviewing the current state of the network architecture

- Assessing its maturity

- Making recommendations to improve the security posture that aligns with business risk and compliance needs

The Senior Security Architect will need to have strong understanding of security architecture principles, threat modeling, and secure design patterns. They must be able to write clear assessment reports and present recommendations to C-Suite leadership.

## Skills

### Required
- Broad architecture knowledge across various network, cloud, identity, application, data, and infrastructure security domains
- Practitioner knowledge on implementing firewalls, secure web gateways, ZTNA solutions, endpoint security platforms, and data loss prevention technologies
- Knowledge of IAM, network security, cloud security, endpoint security, and data protection
- Experience performing security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and maturity evaluations
- Strong understanding of security architecture principles, threat modeling, and secure design patterns
- Proven ability to write clear assessment reports and present recommendations to C-Suite leadership
