## Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our team. As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office. You will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for software enhancements and new products. You will work on operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.

Responsibilities:

- Code and program enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software

- Execute established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code

- Identify, log, and debug assigned issues

- Develop understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development

- Participate as a member of a project team to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions

Requirements:

- Working towards a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree with a focus in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

- Experience or understanding of software systems design tools and languages

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

- Understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform types

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures
