## Description

Okta is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a full-stack team to build developer-facing products. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of software development experience and be proficient in building scalable applications with NodeJS, React, and various databases.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze and refine requirements with product management and stakeholders

- Work with designers and architects to scope and plan engineering efforts

- Develop secure and reusable components for UI implementation

- Develop APIs and SDKs for developers

- Prioritize security, test-driven development, and code reviews

- Define observability and reliability metrics for owned systems

Required Skills:

- 4-6 years of software development experience

- Proficient in NodeJS, Typescript, JavaScript, and React

- Experience with asynchronous programming, HTTP fundamentals, and API design

- Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Redis, or PostgreSQL

- Experience with cloud-native systems like AWS, GCP, or Azure

- Track record of delivering work incrementally and iterating on solutions

Bonus Skills:

- Knowledge of Identity Protocols like OAuth, OIDC, and SAML

- Experience with security engineering and application security
