## Description

As a Telecommunications Counsel at SpaceXAI's Starlink, you will advise the business on laws and regulations in Europe and Africa.

Starlink is a revolutionary satellite constellation delivering low-latency broadband internet worldwide.

## Responsibilities:

- Advise the Starlink team on laws, regulations, and policies impacting the business in Europe and parts of Africa, particularly telecommunications and internet services laws.

- Analyse legal and regulatory risks, communicating them to business and technical teams for sound compliance decisions and licensing in Europe and Africa.

- Monitor legal and policy developments related to Starlink.

- Interface with governmental agencies on regulatory, consumer protection, and law enforcement matters.

## Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years of professional experience in regulatory compliance in the telecommunications industry related to broadband and/or satellite services.

- Juris Doctor, Bachelor of Laws, or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

- Active license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.

## Preferred Skills and Experience:

- Fluency in French and/or Portuguese.

- Knowledge of telecommunications business and regulatory issues outside the US.

- Prior experience managing legal issues for a high-growth multinational company.

## Additional Requirements:

- Based in London, England, requiring onsite presence - remote and hybrid work not considered.

- Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
