## Description

As a Manager, Data Analysis - Personal Loans at Capital One, you will drive the strategy and implementation of AI-readiness initiatives for the Discover Personal Loans (DPL) business. You will ensure data is centralized, well-documented, and optimized for advanced analytical modeling.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead the modernization of monitoring and governance processes by automating manual controls and establishing scalable data abstraction layers.

- Champion data quality and standardization efforts to enhance the usability of core DPL data.

- Leverage analytics to create a customer experience above peers.

- Lead a team of talented junior analysts and mentor them.

- Collaborate across business units and work in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day tasks:

- Mine data to arrive at specific and crucial information.

- Identify and implement process, data, and reporting improvements.

- Work with large and complex databases.

- Improve operational efficiencies and conduct analyses.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical technology, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Experience with Python, R, Spark, SQL, and Tableau is preferred.
