## Job Overview

As a Solutions Architect with Stripe's Commercial team, you will work with technical and business leaders to evangelize Stripe's solutions in the market. You will build relationships with decision-makers, think strategically about business needs, and propose Stripe solutions to solve complex challenges.

## Responsibilities

- Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and technical decision-makers

- Provide business and technical thought leadership

- Architect business models to drive new monetization opportunities and growth

- Drive thought leadership and build executive relationships with key stakeholders

- Work to deeply understand customer business objectives and apply Stripe's solutions

- Secure technical wins for Stripe's products

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver impactful briefings

- Work closely with professional services and partners to accelerate activations

- Collaborate with partners to help Stripe scale and reach its Total Addressable Market

- Approximately 25% travel is anticipated

## Requirements

- 4+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role

- Experience working for mid-market/enterprise-class software companies

- Demonstrated ability to become a trusted advisor to senior executives

- External customer-facing experience

- Payment expertise (preferred but not required)

- Previous experience in web architecture, enterprise architecture, or defining and optimizing financial business processes

- Deep understanding or background in writing code in at least 2 of Stripe's primary deployment languages

- Outstanding oral and written communication skills

- Ability to understand how various technologies and systems interact

- Executive engagement skills and presence

- Strong organizational/time management skills

- Strong collaboration skills

- Experience solving open-ended business problems with technology and creative thinking

- Ability to travel per business needs
