## Description

We are seeking a qualified Senior Architect to support concept, planning, and technical design of construction projects in various sectors. As a Senior Architect at WSP, you will be responsible for leading specific aspects of projects and working with the project team to complete various phases of the project.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing, modifying, and reviewing drawings to ensure incorporation of design intent

- Contributing to project design concepts, project modelling, and producing presentation drawings and sketches

- Collaborating with clients and consultants, and presenting ideas clearly and persuasively

- Preparing, managing, and modifying architectural documents, elevations, sections, and details

- Developing solutions to technical and design problems following established design standards

- Assisting in the development of project scope, plans, and services during the contract process

- Preparing 2D and 3D presentations, design drawings, and renderings

- Compiling data and performing fundamental design computations

- Conducting product research and assisting with materials selection and system research

- Incorporating Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects

Requirements:

- Qualified Architect with previous experience in the construction/architectural industry

- Working knowledge of UK building regulations and national standards

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

- Technical design knowledge/skills in UK construction methodology

- Experience working as part of an architectural design team managing and delivering Tender and Construction Stage works packages

- Ability to communicate technical detail graphically and effectively to colleagues and client teams

- Must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC)
