## Description

kW Mission Critical Engineering, a WSP company, is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Electrical Engineering to work in our Milwaukee office.

As an AVP Electrical Engineer, you will design complex power and other building systems, lead projects, and manage a team of electrical engineers. Your responsibilities will include:

- Producing high-quality technical and professional deliverables for projects and proposals

- Applying deep knowledge of engineering techniques across multiple technical functions

- Utilizing advanced analytical and design techniques to solve technical problems

- Leading the development of initial electrical system concepts

- Presenting complex technical solutions to clients

- Managing and coordinating project teams and projects

- Developing work plans to address technical issues within project time and budget

- Working within multi-discipline project teams to develop drawing and specification documents

- Attending and leading client meetings

- Mentoring junior staff

- Collaborating with internal project discipline team members, equipment vendors, and manufacturers

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with electrical building systems emphasis, 10+ years of experience in designing electrical systems for high-performing commercial, industrial, or mission-critical/data center buildings, and is a Registered Professional Engineer (PE).

Preferred qualifications include enhancing credentials such as LEED or Uptime ATD, experience with international projects, and knowledge of international codes and standards.
