## Description

Twitch is seeking a Security Incident Response Engineer to join its Security Incident Response Team (SIRT). As a Security Incident Response Engineer, you will be at the heart of Twitch's mission to identify, respond to, and learn from security incidents across its global platform.

Responsibilities:

- Participate in an on-call rotation with the Security Incident Response Team

- Qualify reports or alerts of activity as security incidents using established guidelines

- Evaluate the potential and realised impact of security incidents on Twitch

- Analyse threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures

- Participate in or create information sharing groups and communicate securely and responsibly

- Develop and follow clear procedures for accountability, repeatability, measurement, and improvement

- Communicate with peers and leadership about security-related events, their impact, and response

- Coordinate security incident response activities with affected teams

- Investigate, document, and implement automation for detection, enrichment, triage, response, and communication

- Lead lessons learned discussions and help teams implement changes to reduce incident recurrence

Requirements:

- 3+ years of relevant experience in information security or equivalent

- Experience with automation using scripting or programming languages (Go, Python, Ruby, Shell, or Perl)

- Ability to design and implement AI/ML-driven playbooks for automation

- Experience coordinating responses to security incidents

- Knowledge of security issues and the threat landscape

- Background in cloud, host, network, and application security

- Familiarity with Incident Response frameworks or lifecycle models

Nice to Have:

- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Security, or a related technical discipline

- Experience with streaming and content creation

- Experience handling security incidents in hybrid cloud environments (AWS, GCP)

- Familiarity with log analysis on cloud telemetry like CloudTrail
