## Description

Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared DevOps Software Engineer to join a team building and deploying a cutting-edge technology stack in support of the DIA-NMEC (National Media Exploitation Center) DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP).

As a DevOps Software Engineer, you will help design, deploy, and maintain a full-stack, containerized microservices architecture.

Responsibilities:

- Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big-data pipeline built on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka

- Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to accelerate development and improve reliability

- Design and support scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments

- Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features and evolving requirements

- Partner with Systems Engineers to architect solutions for new capabilities

- Contribute technical input to engineering documentation, diagrams, and models

- Participate in Agile release planning, scrums, design sessions, bug triage, and related team activities

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 4-8 years of relevant experience; 4+ years with a Master's

- Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph

- Strong Linux proficiency

- Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes

- Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab

- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana

- Demonstrated success working in cross-functional engineering environments

Nice to Have:

- Experience operating systems at scale

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies

- Development experience (Bash, PowerShell, SALT, Python, Groovy, Java, etc.)

- Experience supporting enterprise or production systems

- Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging systems (AMQP, JMS), Kubernetes monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana), GPU-based Kubernetes, SALT for deployment automation, Helm / Helmfile, Nexus
