## Description

The Platform team at Spotify is seeking a Systems Manager to lead our Financial Systems Functional Analysis team. As a key member of the FinE Alliance within the Platform Mission, you will partner closely with Finance teams across Controllership, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Procurement, and Payroll, as well as Engineering and Operations peers across Financial Engineering.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead, develop, and support a team of Functional Analysts and quality specialists, creating an environment focused on delivery excellence, growth, and collaboration. You will own the delivery lifecycle for finance-domain initiatives, from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, stakeholder sign-off, and operational handover.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading a team of Functional Analysts and quality specialists to deliver high-quality financial systems solutions

- Partnering with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery across a hybrid SaaS and custom-built ERP ecosystem

- Driving strategic initiatives supporting Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Tax, Treasury, and related global finance processes

- Shaping solution architecture decisions for complex, cross-functional financial systems initiatives with high business visibility and impact

- Fostering analytical excellence and acting as a trusted bridge between Finance stakeholders and technical teams

- Managing vendor relationships across the systems portfolio, including roadmap discussions, escalations, contract reviews, and vendor performance management

- Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including opportunities to leverage automation and Generative AI to improve team scalability and delivery efficiency

- Defining and tracking team KPIs, delivery metrics, and operational performance indicators to guide prioritization and resourcing decisions

- Serving as an escalation point for complex finance systems issues, stakeholder concerns, and vendor-related challenges

- Supporting SOX and ITGC compliance activities, audit readiness, and change management processes across the systems your team delivers and operates

We are looking for a seasoned leader with 8+ years of experience in financial systems delivery, functional analysis, or enterprise applications within large-scale ERP environments. You should have 5+ years of people management experience and a strong track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing analysts across multiple seniority levels.

Key qualifications include:

- Deep functional knowledge across enterprise finance processes including Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Record-to-Report (RTR), Tax, and Treasury operations

- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A functions in global organizations

- Strong understanding of SOX frameworks and IT General Controls as they relate to ERP and SaaS change management and audit readiness

- Ability to navigate ambiguity and translate high-level business goals into practical team priorities and delivery plans

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across teams and stakeholders

- Experience working within Agile environments and using tools such as Jira for delivery tracking and prioritization

- Strong judgment, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset to solving complex operational problems

- Experience working with or exploring Generative AI capabilities to improve delivery effectiveness and operational scale

- Experience supporting both project delivery and operational systems administration responsibilities within a single team environment

- Accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional
