## Description

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Host/Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital. As a Host/Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality food and beverage services to patients, visitors and colleagues within a leading private healthcare environment.

**Job Details:**

- 30 hours per week

- Permanent, Part-Time

- Shifts worked between 6:00am and 9:00pm

- 5 days out of 7, including weekends on a rota basis

- Monday to Sunday flexibility required

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Deliver meals and refreshments to patients in a professional and compassionate manner

- Assist with food preparation and presentation in line with food safety standards

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout catering areas

- Support the smooth running of the hospital restaurant and patient dining services

- Ensure excellent customer service is provided to patients, visitors and colleagues

- Follow all health and safety, food hygiene and infection prevention procedures

**Requirements:**

- Previous catering, hospitality, customer service or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential

- A positive, friendly and caring approach

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic

- Basic food hygiene knowledge would be advantageous
