## Description

As a Tanium Senior Software Engineer, you will build and maintain best-of-breed products as part of a small and nimble development team.

Tanium focuses on a strong customer engagement model and feedback process to ensure products are designed correctly from the start.

Responsibilities include:

- Building and maintaining Tanium's products alongside an agile development team

- Focusing on a strong customer engagement model and feedback process

- Designing, developing, and testing new product ideas from scratch while working with product management for feedback and input

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

- CS Degree preferred

- 5+ years of industry experience, 7+ preferred

- Experience building large cloud-based data services

- Knowledge of at least one of Golang, C++, or Rust

- Experience with PostgreSQL

- Experience with API design and development

- Experience with Azure or AWS Database Services

- Experience with cloud object storage, such as AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage

- Experience designing memory-efficient streaming and multipart data-transfer systems

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)

- Experience with modern software engineering development and automation tools like git and CI/CD pipelines
