## Description

Join Cisco's innovative engineering community as a Software Engineer Full Stack / Backend II. You will design and build software solutions that power Cisco's products and platforms. You will work end-to-end on everything from APIs and backend services to user interfaces and distributed systems.

**Minimum Qualifications**

- Master's degree with 0 years of work experience; or

- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of work experience.

- Qualifying education and work experience should be in Computer Engineering, Technology, Software Development or a related field.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go

- Experience writing, debugging, and maintaining code

- Experience building or supporting software applications or services, including APIs and familiarity with core software engineering workflows, tools, and development environments such as Git and Linux

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Expertise in frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and React, with a strong focus on UI/UX principles.

- Proficiency in full-stack development, including experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript, and a solid understanding of RESTful APIs, Object-Oriented Programming, and version control via Git.

- Strong background in building and managing scalable backend distributed systems and microservices using languages such as C/C++, Go, Python, or Java.

- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and robust CI/CD automation workflows.
