## Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Development Officer to join our team. As a Product Development Officer, you will be responsible for conceiving, developing, implementing, supporting, and enhancing life, health, and wellness insurance schemes and products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist in the product design of general insurance products, including medical and non-medical products, and develop and enhance the full spectrum of product development across various distribution channels.

- Monitor product development, implementation, and approval processes, working closely with relevant divisions and departments to provide innovative and quality products and services.

- Prepare presentation decks, product specifications, product approval documents, implementation schedules, policy provisions, launch packs, and conduct pre- and post-launch product evaluations.

- Coordinate and monitor the delivery of product materials, training tools, and product briefings prior to product launches.

- Assist in preparing recommendations to management by reviewing and monitoring the performance and competitiveness of existing, newly launched, and revamped products.

- Conduct market research and prepare competitive analyses on a regular basis.

**Requirements:**

- Solid product knowledge in general insurance products, especially digital insurance products.

- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and project management skills.

- Familiarity with sales, marketing, underwriting, and claims processes in the insurance industry.

- Self-motivated, organised, service-oriented, and a good team player with a strong sense of responsibility.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

**Education and Work Experience:**

- Degree holder in Actuarial, Marketing, Business Administration, or related disciplines.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in insurance product development and implementation of general insurance products.

- Holder of IIQAS, ACII, ANZIIF designations, or other related professional/insurance status is preferred.
