## Description

As a Summer Intern in the Retail, Business and Customer Banking division at Barclays, you will participate in day-to-day activities, providing insights and expertise to help senior colleagues make informed decisions, develop new products and services, and identify new market opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Executing small research projects and preparing presentations and reports

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives

- Participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

- Identifying opportunities and developing business cases for new products and services

- Managing client relationships and providing customer service support

- Developing and implementing financial models and strategies

- Training and mentoring junior colleagues

As an Analyst, you will be expected to:

- Perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard

- Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge and experience in your assigned area of expertise

- Lead and supervise a team, guiding and supporting professional development

- Partner with other functions and business areas

- Take responsibility for end results of a team's operational processing and activities

- Escalate breaches of policies and procedures

- Maintain and build an understanding of how your sub-function integrates with the function
