## Description

Boeing Vancouver is seeking an AI Development Manager to join the Boeing Global Services (BGS) - Digital Services Technology organization. As the AI Development Manager, you will lead a platform capability development team of data scientists, AI engineers, and other data professionals. Your responsibilities include developing and deploying agentic AI capabilities supporting commercial offerings and ensuring their safety, quality, and security.

Key responsibilities:

- Develop shared AI/ML capabilities powering commercial products and services

- Steer AI safety and quality, partnering with AI Governance leadership

- Enable product teams to adopt shared platform AI capabilities

- Build partnerships across Boeing with other business units and functions

- Develop integrated roadmaps with product and platform management

- Lead and develop people across data science, AI engineering, and software development

- Drive delivery and customer outcomes

Requirements:

- At least one year of experience in a leadership role

- 5+ years of experience delivering AI/ML, data science, or analytics solutions in a commercial environment

- 1+ years of experience delivering agentic AI services or capabilities

- Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders

- Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment

- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Preferred qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in an AI/ML, data science, or analytics leadership role

- Experience implementing AI safety, quality, and governance frameworks

- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field

- Experience leading AI platform or enablement capabilities

- Experience collaborating across business units or enterprise functions

- Experience with cloud computing and hosted cloud services

- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge graphs, or graph-based retrieval (GraphRAG)
