## Description

We are seeking a General Medical Practitioner (ARRS GP) to join our team at Delta PCN. The successful applicant will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting.

**Job Summary:** The post-holder will undertake duties governed by the contract and Direct and Local Enhanced Services, including face-to-face surgery consultations, telephone consultations, visiting patients at home, and checking and signing repeat prescriptions.

**Main Duties:**

- Undertake duties governed by the contract and Direct and Local Enhanced Services

- Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems

- Assess healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems

- Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness

- Develop care plans for health in consultation with patients

- Provide counselling and health education

- Admit or discharge patients to and from the caseload and refer to other care providers as appropriate

**Requirements:**

- Full GMC registration

- Performers List registered

- Must be able to start within 3 months of receiving conditional offer of employment

- Must have indefinite right to work in the UK

**Desirable:**

- Experience of working in NHS General Practice

- Keeping up with CPD and good knowledge of current guidelines

- Understanding of QoF, Medicines Management, and general working of GP practices

- Understanding of EMIS Systems

- Excellent communicator and team player

**Salary:** £10,262 per session

**Contract:** Permanent, Part-time
