## Description

Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Head Driver (Development Post) to join its Dental Services team. This is a developmental post from Band 2 to Band 3 with planned competencies that the postholder will be supported to work through over the course of a minimum 6 - 12 months in order to deliver the full remit of the Head Driver position.

The successful candidate will be required to work in a very busy environment whilst remaining calm, work independently, proactively and under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to act as a professional contact point for all driver and vehicle related enquiries with the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy.

The post holder will need to be able to drive a vehicle up to 7.5 tonnes (C1/D1 category).

Key responsibilities include:

- Creating policy, procedure and protocols for all drivers to adhere to for the smooth running of the team

- Completing internal training courses to support the transition into the Head Driver role

- Working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Providing excellent communication and interpersonal skills
