We're seeking a trainee chemical laboratory assistant to join our team in Freiburg from 1 September 2027.

**Responsibilities:**

- Prepare, conduct, and evaluate chemical and physical investigations

- Manufacture reagents and solutions

- Determine active ingredients and excipients in medicinal products using chemical or physical methods

- Carry out quality controls and measurement tasks using state-of-the-art laboratory equipment

- Document results

- Gain insights into adjacent work areas and the entire production process at our Freiburg site

- Receive support through in-house training and experienced colleagues during your training

**Requirements:**

- Good secondary education qualifications – a middle school leaving certificate, higher education entrance qualification, or A-levels are the foundation for your entry

- Interest in natural sciences, particularly chemical and physical principles

- Reliability and accuracy – essential for working with sensitive pharmaceutical products

- Engagement and motivation to actively contribute and shape your training

- Excellent German language skills in writing and speech
