## Description

We are seeking a Senior BIM Modeler - Structures to join our Structural Engineering Team in Bengaluru, India. The successful candidate will provide CAD (Revit) support on projects.

## Responsibilities

- Assist project establishment by contributing to project inception reviews, planning documents, drawing strategies, and setting out coordinates, grid lines, floor levels, and building details.

- Develop general arrangement, section, and detail drawings from engineer's sketches and other design team members' drawings and details.

- Produce coordinated building models, drawings, and details to a high standard, eliminating errors and clashes.

- Input to the coordination of architectural and MEP models on projects.

- Use available templates, menus, and supporting documentation for CAD work and library items to assist design work.

- Perform self-checks on models and drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Plan to ensure all drawings reviews are completed in a timely manner prior to issuing.

- Follow QA procedures, document control, archiving, and CDM guidelines on all work.

- Work with project team members on specified aspects of the project.

- Provide advice and coaching to colleagues on intermediate CAD functions when requested.

- Demonstrate initiative throughout the project life span.

## Key Competencies / Skills

- Expert knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and ability to coach junior staff in their use.

- Experience working on several medium-size projects as sole CAD support or as part of a wider CAD team.

- Understanding of structural mechanics and how buildings are put together.

- Good understanding of the role of Consulting Engineers and your part in this.

- Ability to coordinate with other disciplines.

- Clear understanding of industry standards.

## Qualifications

- Diploma in Civil or Higher.

- 8+ years' production experience in detailing, drafting structural drawings team management, and engineering with significant experience in a similar role.
