## Description

TransPerfect Health is seeking a compassionate and caring Physical Therapist to join their team at Patriot's Village in Sumter, SC. As a PRN Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to the aging population, particularly veterans.

**Job Summary:** As a Physical Therapist at TransPerfect Health, you will conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies. You will help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments

- Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life

- Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner

- Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education

- Develop robust therapy programs in collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation

- Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated

- Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines

- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care

- Support compliance with all state and federal regulations

- Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands

- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

**Qualifications:**

- Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice

- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program

- If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level PT education by an APTA-approved credentialing agency
