## Description

WSP is seeking a Lead Professional, Structural/Bridge Engineer for their Boise, ID office.

This role involves providing high-level technical assistance and guidance for multi-site/phase due diligence, investigation, remediation, improvement, and/or construction of building and infrastructure projects in the public and private sector.

Responsibilities include:

- Performing high-level engineering techniques on various assignments for structural elements under minimal supervision

- Reviewing submittals and shop drawings

- Evaluating design calculations for projects

- Examining existing structures and load ratings

- Performing project-specific analyses

- Preparing necessary plans, specifications, estimates, and technical memorandums

The ideal candidate will have:

- Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline

- 7+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering discipline and prior structural or civil design experience

- Engineer license required

- Proficient with structural engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to project work-related issues

- Experience with industry design standards such as AASHTO, ACI, AISC etc.
