## Description

We are looking for a DevOps engineer to join the team that supports the development of products in the area of physics simulations. The project develops and maintains the CI/CD infrastructure (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) and deploys multi-platform desktop applications. The team also deals with porting and customization of open-source libraries for specific environments (Linux, Windows, real-time OS) and specific compilers (MSVC, GCC, Intel C++ Compiler, ...). Much of the team's work is done in Python, including automation scripts as well as smaller GUI components for our products.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)

- Deploy multi-platform desktop applications

- Port and customize open-source libraries for specific environments (Linux, Windows, real-time OS) and specific compilers (MSVC, GCC, Intel C++ Compiler, ...)

- Work with Python for automation scripts and smaller GUI components

**Requirements:**

- Intermediate-level knowledge of Python

- In-depth understanding of platforms and operating systems

- Attention to detail in design and implementation

- Experience with large-scale software development

- Familiarity with new technologies

- Fluency in English

- Preferably, a university degree in computer science, software development, or similar

- Familiarity with building large C/C++ projects using industry-standard build systems (CMake, Meson) and package managers (Conan, vcpkg, python package managers)

- Experience with CI/CD tools/pipelines and code management systems (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab-CI, Azure DevOps (TFS), Git, Artifactory, Jenkins)

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration of containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS)

- Familiarity with configuration Management (Ansible)
