## Description

Spire Shawfair Park Hospital is looking to recruit a Theatre Assistant to join their fantastic Theatre team. The hospital is a modern, purpose-built private hospital located in south-east Edinburgh, providing a comprehensive range of treatments, diagnostics, and specialist services.

**Job Responsibilities:**

- Provide a range of support services to Nurses and Consultants during procedures

- Assist scrub nurses during procedures

- Provide patient support within the anaesthetics room

- Open sterile packs

- Check instruments

- Assist with ordering equipment

- Maintain quality care delivery

- Understand and contribute towards infection control

**Requirements:**

- SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent

- Experience working in Theatres would be beneficial

- Experience in care is desirable

- Willing to learn and develop

- Good level of communication and good written English
