## Description

At Wasatch Property Management, Maintenance Technicians play a crucial role in the success of each community. They provide technical expertise for various aspects of apartment communities, including HVAC systems, plumbing repairs, and cosmetic enhancements. The ideal candidate is personable, has exceptional technical skills, and a passion for hands-on work.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units and common areas.

- Respond to resident service requests within 3 hours.

- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting issues.

- Consistently represent the Wasatch brand.

- Embody an owner's mindset.

**Requirements:**

- Detail-oriented and task-focused individual.

- Strong communicator.

- Personable and confident customer service professional with a 'Resident First' mindset.

- Team player.

- Organized and accountable.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Currently working as a Maintenance Technician with experience in growing into a Team Lead or Lead Maintenance role.

- Previous experience as a Lead Maintenance Technician, Lead Technician, or similar leadership role.

- Experience in repairing and maintaining:

+ Electrical Systems   + Plumbing   + Appliances   + Flooring   + Carpentry   + Heating and Air Systems/HVAC   + Pools

- Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask.

- Ability to work independently, lead, and as part of a team.

- Superior customer service skills.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies.

**Benefits and Pay Range:** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - 28.00 USD per hour, depending on experience, plus quarterly bonus potential.
