## Description

UNC Rex Holly Springs is hiring a Registered Nurse (Clinical Nurse III OR) to join the Holly Springs Operating Room (OR). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of OR nursing experience and be able to both circulate and scrub.

The OR performs both inpatient and outpatient procedures on adult and pediatric populations in 3 Operating rooms and 1 Procedure Room, including orthopedics, general, GYN, robotics, neurology, breast, ENT, plastics, urology, ophthalmology, and endoscopy.

Responsibilities:

- Assess patients with complex problems and synthesize data to determine priorities for care

- Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs of self and others

- Evaluate patient progress and revise plan accordingly

- Demonstrate expertise in care of patients with complex problems

- Provide direction in implementation of the plan and serve as a resource to other staff members

- Develop goals to promote professional growth and minimize limitations

- Participate in activities that facilitate intra/interdepartmental collaboration

Requirements:

- Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program

- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina

- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

- One (1) year of nursing experience
