## Description

TransPerfect Connect is seeking highly fluent, professional bilingual speakers with experience using their language skills in a professional call center-style setting.

The role involves providing consecutive interpretation services between English and your language pair across various industries, including medical, legal, and financial services.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing accurate and neutral interpretation

- Maintaining confidentiality and impartiality

- Managing call flow professionally

- Demonstrating emotional intelligence

- Applying short-term memory retention and active listening techniques

- Participating in ongoing training and coaching

The ideal candidate has:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Fluency in English and their language pair

- Ability to pass a language and interpreting skills assessment

- Minimum of 6 months of call center, customer service, or interpreting experience

- Strong verbal communication and bilingual accuracy

- Proven ability to think clearly and act professionally in fast-moving situations
