## Description

We are seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team at Churchill Square Shopping Centre in Brighton. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for providing janitorial and waste removal services in a fast-paced environment.

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Work effectively and efficiently as part of a team in a Shopping Centre environment

- Handle waste generated on site via approved waste streams

- Drive scrubber dryer and operate site equipment

- Provide high-quality janitorial service internally and externally in various areas, including welfare areas, social areas, and production areas

- Use walk-behind and ride-on sweepers and scrubber-dryers, and maintain equipment

- Respond to spillages and callouts from clients on site

- Communicate effectively with team members and line managers

- Wear protective clothing and comply with Health & Safety legislation and policies

- Undergo full training on cleaning methods and equipment

Requirements:

- Satisfactory response from Disclosure Board at a basic level

- Knowledge of health and safety requirements or willingness to learn

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Reliable and flexible approach to work

- Physically fit
