## Description

We are seeking a Lead File Handler to join our Industrial Disease team in Liverpool. As a Lead File Handler, you will take ownership of your own caseload, including NIHL and other disease claims, and make a real impact on clients' outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing your caseload efficiently, reviewing documents and evidence, handling disclosure, preparing reports, and progressing claims.

- Conducting investigations with Insurers and Insureds, gathering and assessing witness statements, instructing and liaising with experts.

- Attending court appointments, conferences, and trials, ensuring deadlines and court timetables are met.

- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, providing clear instructions and effective communication.

- Mentoring and developing Assistant File Handlers, ensuring all work aligns with SRA Standards & Regulations and Keoghs Values.
