## Description

We are seeking an ambitious, experienced, driven, and solution-oriented individual to join our custom development and professional services team. As a Backend SE I, you will collaborate with multiple teams to deliver solutions to our clients.

**Responsibilities**

- Work with the team to develop product features that get delivered to 820M monthly active users.

- Take ownership of a product feature and be responsible for its quality.

- Write clean code with proper test coverage.

- Review other people's code and ensure it meets company standards.

- Design and develop features that can scale to 100K+ RPS.

**Requirements**

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).

- 1-3 years of medium to large-scale server-side software development experience.

- Good knowledge of CS fundamentals: data structures, time complexity of algorithms, databases.

- Good knowledge of a backend programming language like Java, Python, Node, or Clojure.

- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor).

- Knowledge of Posix compliant Operating Systems.

- Experience in writing Unit, Functional & Regression tests.

- Experience in working with a distributed version control tool (Git).

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong work ethics and team player with a strong sense of ownership and collaboration.

**Nice to Have**

- Knowledge of functional programming (Clojure).

- Experience with Yugabytedb, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, or Postgresql at scale.

- Experience with benchmarking systems for performance and failure detection.
