### Job Overview

As Deputy Manager - Revenue Intelligence & Governance at Meesho, you'll join a team of 50+ professionals in domains such as Financial Reporting, Finance Operations, Business Finance, Treasury Management, and Taxation. Your role involves analysing revenue and collection lines, resolving issues with stakeholders, and driving automation to improve workflow efficiencies.

### Key Responsibilities

- Validate and ensure the effectiveness of Meesho's control framework for revenue booking.

- Set up finance processes for new strategic revenue lines with business and product stakeholders.

- Minimize revenue leakages through Root Cause Analysis (RCA), collaboration with Product and Analysts, and automation.

- Strengthen revenue collection processes and supervise remittances from external partners.

- Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition activities.

- Perform 3-way reconciliations between Revenue, Collection, and agreed SLA's.

- Develop automation in revenue-related tasks and workflows.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address variations at their root cause.

- Establish processes and controls for new revenue streams.

- Prepare accounting memos for new revenue streams for compliance with accounting standards.

- Handle statutory and internal audits independently.

### Requirements

- Chartered Accountant certification with 2-3 years of experience.

- Experience working in a startup in a similar role involving Revenue Analysis, FP&A, or Business Finance.

- Understanding of technical accounting guidance for Revenue Recognition.

- Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.

- Articleship experience in Big 4 preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to multitask, think critically, and execute tactically.

- Proven track record of finding innovative solutions to problems.
