## Description

We are seeking a part-time Banquet Bartender to join our team at The Watermark Hotel in Tysons, Virginia. You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Your goal will be to provide exceptional guest service and create an inviting bar atmosphere.

**Responsibilities**

- Provide excellent guest service, taking and preparing beverage orders accurately and efficiently.

- Operate the point of sale system and cash register, following all cash handling procedures.

- Prepare drinks to recipe and brand standards, dispensing appropriate levels of alcohol.

- Monitor guest consumption of alcoholic beverages, ensuring compliance with state and local liquor laws.

- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health regulations and local liquor laws.

- Complete required paperwork, including beginning and end of shift inventory.

- Work effectively as a team player, assisting other associates as needed.

**Qualifications**

- High school diploma or GED required.

- One or more years of previous bartending experience or Bartender certification.

- TIPS or CARE beverage service certification desired.

- Excellent customer service and attention to detail skills.

- Ability to speak, understand, and write English.

**Physical Requirements**

- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.

- Ability to stand, walk, and move about the property continuously throughout the shift.
