## Description

Priory Hospital Barnt Green is seeking a Private Consultant Psychiatrist to join their team.

This is a sessional/self-employed private practice partnering opportunity, allowing you to build and manage a private practice at the hospital.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assessing and treating a diverse mix of inpatient and outpatient populations

- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, healthcare assistants, and dieticians

- Engaging in quality improvement and governance activities

- Networking with professional colleagues and referral sources

- Marketing yourself and your practice in conjunction with Priory

- Maintaining professional development and meeting Revalidation requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Addictions

- Admitting

- CAMHS

- Experience of at least 2 years operating within a substantive role with the NHS

- A strong understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks

- Successful completion of a DBS (funded by Priory) and other regulatory required checks
