## Description

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at CVS Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within our store. You will be the first point of contact for patients and customers, assisting them with their healthcare needs and providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the pharmacy team with daily operations, including filling prescriptions, processing payments, and maintaining patient records

- Provide excellent customer service, answering patient questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner

- Operate the pharmacy's workflow management system, accurately and efficiently processing prescriptions and patient information

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to CVS Health's standards for cleanliness and safety

- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on new medications, procedures, and technologies

- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve sales goals and promote patient health and wellness

Requirements:

- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy

- Must be at least 16 years of age (if state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement)

- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (if state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement)

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks as needed

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals

Preferred Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician

- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting

- Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs
