The Role: As a Software Engineer on Career Mode, you’ll help build and evolve one of the most played experiences in the game. You’ll work on the technology, tools, and frameworks that power Career and Tournament modes, and contribute to new features shipped each year.

Responsibilities:

- Implementation of new features or additions to existing features within Career Manager, Career Player, and Tournament modes

- Troubleshoot and fix issues that may arise

- Manage your piece of feature/sub-feature, including implementing BE logic, game flows, and UI screens

- Contribute to gathering requirements and writing technical functional design specifications

- Monitor performance and Career Mode stability impact from your changes

Qualifications:

- Object-oriented programming experience and OO design principles

- 7+ years’ experience in C++ software development

- Experience understanding high-complexity existing and unfamiliar code and modifying it

- Ability to adapt to existing multiple coding styles

- Experience in C# and willingness to learn new tech

Nice to have:

- Experience in UI technologies (Qt, Unity, or Unreal UI frameworks)

- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Lua), C#, and SQL

- Experience working within an agile team

- Experience working with Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo game consoles

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience
