## Description

Fortrea is seeking Ophthalmology Clinical Team Leads to join its FSP team.

The Clinical Team Lead (CTL) owns the clinical delivery of clinical research trials, functioning as the Clinical Project Manager (CPM) within the core project team.

**Responsibilities:**

- Drive clinical project performance toward contracted deliverables while meeting customer needs and maintaining operational excellence.

- Collaborate with clients and project teams across a matrixed, multicultural environment.

- Develop and prioritize clinical project strategies with the project team and stakeholders.

- Manage project operations, including subject recruitment and retention, clinical vendor delivery, and monitoring visit strategies.

- Identify and mitigate clinical project risks using end-to-end risk management practices.

- Utilize data sources, dashboards, and risk management strategies to drive innovation and proactive problem-solving.

- Ensure adherence to project governance, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee clinical project budgets, resources, and scope.

- Provide inspiring leadership and facilitate communication and teamwork within the clinical team.

- Mentor team members and provide feedback to line managers.

**Qualifications:**

- University/college degree (life science preferred) or certification in a related allied health profession.

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

**Experience:**

- 5+ years of clinical research/monitoring experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- 3+ years of experience leading project teams through clinical studies.

- Experience providing oversight to external vendors.

- Working knowledge of ICH Guidelines and GCP.

- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Access, and PowerPoint).

- Experience managing projects in a matrix and virtual environment.

**Pay Range:** $135,000-147,000 USD annually

**Physical Demands/Work Environment:**

- Standard office environment or remote-based work required.

- Weekend and off-hour work as required.

- Travel requirements: up to 30% (global).
