## Description

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Hyderabad, India.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for General ledger activities, including dealing with Finance system related projects, Lease Accounting, Inter-Company Accounting, Fixed Assets Accounting, Preparation of Bank Reconciliations, Manual Journal Entries, VAT Computation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strong understanding of accounting and finance concepts, with hands-on experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Record to Report (R2R) on finance systems, preferably Oracle and Cadency Reconciliation.

- Experience in Finance System implementation, such as Oracle, Leases, and Reconciliations.

- Advanced to expert knowledge in preparation and documentation of Accrual and Prepaid journal entries, in compliance with the journal entry policy.

- Experience with Balance sheet Reconciliations, including Cash, Fixed assets, Inter Company, Current assets, and Current liabilities.

- Knowledge of lease accounting, with implementation of ASC 842 being an added advantage.

- Understanding of Prepayments and periodical amortization of prepayments.

- Familiarity with Fixed assets accounting cycle, including capitalization, depreciation accounting, disposals, and retirement.

- Analyze the movement in GL balances and assist in Balance Sheet commentaries.

- Thorough knowledge of Balance sheet items and Income statement line items.

- Adherence to internal controls and support the review of key controls and SOX compliance.

- Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process.

- Willingness to continuously evaluate, recommend, and implement changes to all processes impacting the GL to simplify while improving transparency.

- Demonstrate a technology-enabled mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Qualified CA/CMA with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant business experience.

- Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant/Bachelor/Master degree in Commerce with a minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant business experience.

- Advanced accounting and financial skills required, with experience in USGAAP concepts and IFRS knowledge being a plus.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle R12 and Cadency Certification, HFM tool being an added advantage.

- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to be adaptable and flexible, meet deadlines, and work well in a team.
