## Description

Spire Methley Park Hospital in Leeds is seeking an experienced Clinical Healthcare Assistant to join the Theatre Department on a full-time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be part of the theatre team, providing a caring support service to patients. This will include assisting nurses during procedures, transporting patients to and from the ward, and opening sterile packs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in a clinical environment, such as wards or theatres.

Responsibilities:

- Assist nurses during procedures

- Transport patients to and from the ward

- Open sterile packs

- Prepare and maintain instruments before procedures

- Assist with the cleanliness and maintenance of the theatres

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) or equivalent in a clinical environment

- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care

- Care Competencies completed

- Cannulation experience (desirable)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience in ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures, and patient observations
