## Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support Cigna Canada and its subsidiaries in Canada, focusing on day-to-day accounting functions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Prepare month-end journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting

- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Develop lead schedules, including fixed asset continuity and accrued expense schedules

- Maintain tax continuity schedules and support tax reconciliations

- Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary

- Support management reporting, regulatory filings, and the external year-end audit process

- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager

**Requirements:**

- 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience

- CPA designation or active enrollment in the CPA program

- Experience with OSFI reporting is an asset

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work at all organizational levels

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
