## Description

We are seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the technical delivery of stormwater or river hydraulic modelling projects. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the technical delivery of stormwater or river hydraulic modelling projects

- Apply hydraulic principles for river and/or stormwater infrastructure planning

- Use Innovyze ICM and/or Tuflow software to build, update, or test options/scenarios for river and/or stormwater systems

- Develop hydrologic models and urban hydrology for use in hydraulic modelling

- Interpret and manipulate geospatial datasets for hydraulic modelling using ArcGIS or QGIS

- Interpret hydraulic models and outputs for infrastructure planning

- Apply sound engineering judgement to resolve modelling anomalies

- Coach and mentor junior team members to achieve a good standard of hydraulic modelling

- Ensure project-related quality processes are carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering followed by a Master's in Water Resource Engineering or Environmental Engineering or similar

- Professional Registration (Chartered Engineer status or equivalent)

- Minimum of 12 years' experience post-qualification in stormwater and/or river hydraulic modelling

- At least 6 years' experience using either Innovyze ICM software for stormwater hydraulic modelling, or Tuflow software for river hydraulic modelling

- Highly proficient in Innovyze ICM software or Tuflow software

- Highly capable of using ArcGIS or QGIS to deliver stormwater and/or river hydraulic modelling projects
