## Description

As an LGV 2 Driver at Biffa Waste Services, you will play a crucial role in driving LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes, and bags from householders, and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.

**Responsibilities**

- Drive LGV waste collection vehicles

- Collect and empty bins, boxes, and bags from householders

- Carry out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking

**Requirements**

- Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence

- Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card

- Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety

- Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects

- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements

- Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Good awareness of health & safety procedures
