## Description

Aramco is seeking an Electrical Power Contracts Engineer to join the Downstream under Power Systems Planning Department. As the successful candidate, you will be required to manage third-party and joint venture agreements, review and verify the accuracy of third-party billing, conduct specialized and detailed performance analyses of third-party cogeneration systems, and ensure adherence to all contractual obligations, grid codes, and offtake requirements.

Key responsibilities include monitoring power offtake and analyzing any variances in alignment with existing contracts, developing both short-term and long-term energy offtake forecasts to support planning and decision-making, analyzing historical load patterns to optimize generation and dispatch planning strategies, identifying and assessing operational, commercial, and contractual risks related to offtake arrangements, preparing comprehensive offtake reports for all relevant customers and stakeholders, participating in audits and providing the necessary technical support during these processes, and ensuring strict compliance with regulatory frameworks and market policies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering from a recognized and approved program, at least 15 years of field experience in the utility or industry sectors with in-depth experience in cogeneration technologies, Independent Power Producer (IPP) scheme and associated contracts, Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT), Build Own Operate (BOO), Power Purchase and Energy Conversion Agreements and others, strong analytical capabilities, negotiation skills, and other soft skills needed for the subject job.
