## Description

At Pinterest, we're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Revenue Accountant to join our dynamic Revenue Accounting team. As a Revenue Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing strategic insights for our company's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee deferred revenue accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

- Partner with stakeholder teams to ensure data relied upon for revenue accounting is accurate/complete.

- Execute compliance with internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

- Support external audits by providing accurate and timely information.

- Drive process improvements and automations within Revenue Operations to enhance efficiency and scalability.

- Leverage AI-driven analytics and automation tools to streamline reconciliations, and improve the accuracy and scalability of deferred revenue accounting processes.

- Perform special projects, as needed to support our rapid growth.

Requirements:

- Big 4 accounting firm (or similar) experience.

- 3+ years of Revenue accounting experience, in a technology or high-growth company operating in a SOX environment.

- Strong understanding of GAAP and the proven ability to research technical accounting topics.

- Strong understanding of ASC 606.

- Experience with Oracle R12, Salesforce.com or similar systems.

- A master of details who can also understand the big picture.

- Strong Excel skills, big plus if savvy with Tableau or other BI tools.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical issues into clear, actionable guidance.

- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and balance technical rigor with operational practicality.

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
