## Description

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Equipment Engineer to join our Rocket Motor Systems team. As a Senior Equipment Engineer, you will design, commission, and upgrade Solid Rocket Motor production equipment. This role requires experience in designing and commissioning automation equipment in a production environment, with a strong understanding of safety devices and electrical systems. You will lead all aspects of vendor management, including SOW, RFP/RFQ, vendor downselect, design reviews, FAT, and SAT. You will also integrate internal and external FactoryOS software into automation equipment and production lines, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, and 6+ years of experience in designing and commissioning automation equipment in a production environment. You will be proficient in CAD modeling in NX, Solidworks, or AutoCAD, and have a solid understanding of safety devices, including Estops, door interlocks, light curtains, LIDAR scanners, and trap keys. You will also be able to manage an integrator all the way from RFQ through SAT for a $500k+ CapEx project.
