## Description

We are seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Richmond Villages Cheltenham. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents receive dignified, personalized attention during mealtimes. You will support the day-to-day management of the hospitality team, assist with staff supervision, and take accountability for creating and managing staff rotas.

Responsibilities:

- Supporting the day-to-day management of the hospitality team

- Assisting with staff supervision, providing guidance and support to ensure high service standards are maintained

- Taking accountability for creating and managing staff rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels are in place to meet business needs

- Completing administration duties (approximately 50% of the role), including updating records, managing schedules, handling departmental paperwork, and supporting reporting requirements

- Monitoring attendance, holiday requests, and shift cover arrangements

- Supporting the Hospitality Manager with operational organisation and team performance

- Setting up for business & serving at mealtimes

- Serving drinks at the bar as required

- Ensuring that the restaurant and café & kitchen are tidy and meet all high standards

Requirements:

- Background in customer service, and potentially some experience in catering or kitchen roles (though not essential)

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work in a tight-knit team setting, engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds
