## Description

We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join the team at Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the imaging team, providing high-standard patient-centred care, meeting the needs of patients, consultants, and colleagues. Responsibilities include:

- Working within the multi-disciplinary team to deliver care and maintain customer service and satisfaction under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner

- Conducting oneself professionally within the HCA/Imaging Assistants standard framework, adhering to the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of Professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

- Demonstrating competence in the role of Imaging Assistant within the scope of working areas

- Working alongside the multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and high-quality care provision for patients

- Complying with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

- Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role

- Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations

- Care Certificate

- NVQ Level 1 and/or willingness to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent

- Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent

- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence

Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £13.00 per hour, depending on level of experience, training, and qualification.
