## Description

Amazon Robotics is seeking an Inventory and Manufacturing Planner to own inventory control, configuration management, and production planning for robotic systems at BOS27/BOS35. The successful candidate will build the planning and inventory control infrastructure for systems scaling from early development to full production.

Key responsibilities:

- Develop and enforce inventory control policies and procedures

- Optimize inventory levels and reduce excess and obsolete material

- Develop new inventory strategies that scale with program growth and evolving manufacturing requirements

- Own Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Manufacturing Change Orders (MCOs) across supported programs

- Build and maintain Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOMs) with full configuration accuracy and traceability

- Create finite capacity production schedules considering equipment, labor, and material constraints

- Develop build schedules and release work orders through their complete lifecycle

- Drive continuous improvement through Lean/Six Sigma methodologies

- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics on supply plan execution

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of supply chain, inventory management, or project management experience. They will also have experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma, and knowledge of materials management processes.
